I find that I learn the most from engaging in projects and applying engineering principles to tangible situations. Structural engineering projects that I have worked on include civil and aerospace structures.

Civil projects dealt with the design and construction of built environments. Such structures include tower and bridge designs. Projects incorporated programs that include but are not limited to SolidWorks, AutoCAD, and SAP2000 to conceptualize design, map stress distributions, and maximize safety in these environments.

Design of aerospace structures were characterized by high performance and safety. Projects related to aerospace structures dealt with airfoil, skin, and stringers and ranged from design of composite material to stringer properties. Programs utilized include but are not limited to SolidWorks, MATLAB, and ABAQUS.

Throughout both civil and aerospace structural projects, structural integrity and safety were focal points of composition in the hopes of engineering technology and innovation.
